Art as a Profession. The collection of Maya and Anatoly Bekkerman

Web-design and app-development

The website is dedicated to the exhibition "Art as a Profession. The Collection of Maya and Anatoly Bekkerman". The exhibition had been taking place in the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Art from 23th of April to 1st of June and in The State Russian Museum from 9th of July to 1st of September, 2014. That was the first time when the collection of Maya and Anatoly Bekkerman had been displayed as an independent project.

During more than 30 years of collecting, the married couple have gathered an impressive collection of Russian art of the first part of the 20th century. Paintings of Konstantin Korovin, David Burliuk, Natalia Goncharova, Boris Grigoriev, Mstislav Dobuzhinsky, Boris Kustodiev, Nikolai Feshin and many others had been displayed in the exhibition in the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow and in the St. Michael's Castle in Saint-Petersburg.

The website introduces these pictures and the exhibition space to the visitor. A part "Collection" contains handy online catalogue, a part "Virtual Tour" gives a unique opportunity to take a virtual walk of the museum halls, which will take the visitor to the "White hall" and the colonnade of the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts.
