The exhibition "Royal Funny Lights" was successfully held in the Grand Palace of the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve. Holiday culture in Russia of the XVIII century", dedicated to fireworks and illuminations of the XVIII century.

The central part of the exhibition was the installation "Giant Fire Fountain" — a reconstruction of the fireworks display staged in Tsaritsyn on September 7, 1775 on the occasion of Catherine II's reception of foreign ambassadors here. The installation, which was created using modern audiovisual means, created the illusion of a festive royal fireworks display.

The idea to create an exhibition-show has paid off. Judging by the publications in the press and entries in the book of reviews, visitors gratefully accepted the opportunity to get acquainted with authentic masterpieces of art and take part in a light performance. The exhibition was visited by more than 40,000 people.
